Yacht Deliveries
Deliveries, Shakedown Sails & Ocean Passage Crew
Have you purchased a boat but feel anxious about sailing it offshore? We are here to help you deliver your yacht to your desired location. We will move your boat in a safe and timely manner, giving you peace of mind from start to finish.
Our Boat Delivery Service
Often, these passages serve as excellent training for owners and crew as they prepare for longer journeys. A first sail can reveal any initial issues, and having an experienced sailor who is also a skilled engineer on board can be a significant advantage.
Increasingly, insurance companies require yacht owners wishing to sail across oceans to have crew members with ocean experience. Anna & Bones offer a crewing service that provides added value – we can coach you throughout the journey, helping you reach a level of competency that satisfies your insurance company’s requirements.
We also offer Yacht Deliveries for owners who want to maximise their time on board and prefer not to include the delivery in their valuable vacation time. We can sail your boat to its next location.
Yacht Deliveries for Your Peace of Mind
With our Yacht Delivery Services, you can rest assured that your boat is in capable hands. Bones grew up racing dinghies on the notorious Bristol Channel in the UK and is a commercially endorsed Yachtmaster through the Royal Yachting Association and Maritime and Coastguard Agency (RYA/MCA).
Anna grew up in her parents’ chandlery on the River Hamble and has been sailing both yachts and dinghies from an early age. She is a commercially endorsed RYA/MCA Ocean Yachtmaster. Most recently, Anna & Bones restored and successfully ran the charter yacht Emily Morgan, a Bowman 57. Together, they have sailed over one hundred thousand miles on her, including 16 Atlantic crossings and one circumnavigation.
We also offer Own Boat Tuition, Yacht Consultancy, Boat Maintenance and Yacht Charter services.
