Testimonials

Our ambition to sail across Biscay, long frustrated by lack of crew, Covid and health issues, has now been satisfied by your careful delivering of us and our boat from Portishead to La Coruna. Your professional hospitality and willingness to share your vast sailing experience have allowed us to prepare our boat for this trip, feel confident when winds were strong and seas rolled in, and relax and delight in the joys of fast sailing, dolphin sightings, sunrises, star filled skies, and sunbathing on deck, not to mention your sat comms kit, and unexpected and exceptionally good baking and cleaning of our boat.

When we were preparing to move aboard and set off cruising full time, as a family we were extremely fortunate to be able to call upon Bones and Anna’s vast experience and knowledge. Sometimes it was a case of reassurance in our decision making, at other times it was help with practical advice. On every occasion, their help and advice has been given in a straightforward and friendly manner. It’s great to know, as we progress on our journey, that Bones and Anna are behind us – very reassuring indeed!

Whether new to sailing as a live-aboard, just starting to make longer passages, or crossing oceans, you cannot have better coaches to show you the ropes than Bones and Anna. Invest a small amount and get them on board. Years of experience, acquired through thousands of miles can be passed on whilst sailing your own boat, having two great sailors and lovely people on board to teach all of that in a low stress environment.

I have known Anna and Bones for over 10 years, meeting them all over the Atlantic Ocean. So I know first hand about their outstanding Ocean sailing experience. It’s always rewarding to discuss with them any aspect of blue water sailing, giving me new ideas what to do, to test and try out myself. Since I am not the best technician Bones has worked so many times on my boats. He has helped me on the many different kind of problems where other technicians didn’t have a clue. At some point I had the impression Bones knows my boat better then I do.

After 6 hours Anna & Bones swept Hilma back to order after our Atlantic dismasting. We have never seen a more competent, professional and trustworthy couple on the sea!

I highly recommend you consult with Bones and Anna on all of your sailing needs before you head of on your adventure, as you will be hard pressed to meet a more professional and competent pair of sailors anywhere on your travels

Anna and Bones are the perfect couple to help aspiring and experienced cruisers make the most of their boating life.
