Our Yacht Maintenance Services
With our proactive approach and extensive experience in maintaining boats, we are here to help ensure your yacht remains in optimal condition – preparing you for the worst, and avoiding any unnecessary issues.
The Importance of Maintaining Your Boat
Proper boat maintenance is not just about avoiding issues; it’s about ensuring a safe and enjoyable sailing experience. After sailing so many miles, Anna & Bones have witnessed the consequences of poorly maintained boats and unprepared crew who fail to consider how a minor setback can escalate into a larger issue. With proper planning, these situations could have been avoided, and the sailing experience could have been more enjoyable.
In our experience, 70% of the problems at sea arise from a lack of maintenance, 20% result from a misunderstanding (such as trying to force equipment to perform beyond its intended design), and the remaining 10% are simply unfortunate circumstances.
With many years of engineering experience, Bones can help you prepare for any challenges that may arise.
Experts in Boat Maintenance
Having maintained his own boats from a young age, Bones started his own successful boat repair business, which he ran for several years. His high engineering standards are a result of his training as an engineer with Westland Helicopters – the benchmark of quality for our service.
Modern yachts have numerous technical aspects, and we not only provide appropriate training but also conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics to identify potential faults. We then offer detailed recommendations for improvements to keep your boat in top condition. If we are unable to carry out the necessary improvements in-house, we can connect you with experts who can assist you. In the unfortunate event that something does go wrong, you will be well prepared to handle it.
